Out-of-Network

Paradise Medical Group will submit your claim to any out-of-network insurance however, you will be responsible for any incurred cost not paid by your insurance.

Medi-Cal

Paradise Medical Group is unable to accept and bill Traditional Medi-Cal, CCS, Health & Wellness, Anthem-Exchange Medi-Cal plans.

Copays & Deductibles

Copays & deductibles are due at the time of service. We accept payment by cash, check, Amex, Visa, Discover and Mastercard.

Paradise Medical Group asks that you present your insurance card prior to each visit. If there is a change in your coverage, please notify us immediately as this may affect how your claim is processed. Failure to submit correct insurance information at the time of your visit could result in your being responsible for the payment of charges.

Paradise Medical Group attempts to contact patients with balances either by phone or by mail to discuss payment options. If you do not respond to our attempts, the account may be forwarded to a collection agency. If you wish to discuss your account balance, please ask to speak with our Collection Specialist at 530/872-6658.

PMG has provided a list of insurances that we participate with on our website. Make sure that you always verify your insurances participation with your health plan.

2. What is a deductible?

The amount you have to pay out-of-pocket for expenses before your insurance will cover the remaining costs.

3. What is a copay?

The amount that the patient is expected to pay at the time of their medical visit. The amount is determined by the insured’s health plan.

4. What is a coinsurance?

A co-sharing agreement between the insured and the insurer which provides that the insured will cover a set cost after the deductible has been met.

5. Can I pay my bill over the phone?

Yes, PMG accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Amex credit cards for your convenience.
